पात्रता व शैक्षणिक अर्हता:
1. वरिष्ठ संशोधन सहकारी (SRF)
शैक्षणिक पात्रता:
मॉलिक्युलर बायोलॉजी, बायोटेक्नॉलॉजी, बायोकेमिस्ट्री, लाइफ सायन्सेस, बॉटनी, जेनेटिक्स, प्लांट ब्रीडिंग, प्लांट पॅथॉलॉजी, प्लांट फिजिऑलॉजी किंवा मायक्रोबायोलॉजीमध्ये पदव्युत्तर (Master’s Degree).
3 वर्षांची पदवी + 2 वर्षांची मास्टर्स डिग्री असलेल्या उमेदवारांकडे ICAR/DST मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वांनुसार NET पात्रता आणि 2 वर्षांचा संशोधन अनुभव असणे आवश्यक.
वयोमर्यादा:
पुरुष उमेदवारांसाठी: 35 वर्षांपर्यंत
महिला उमेदवारांसाठी: 40 वर्षांपर्यंत
2. यंग प्रोफेशनल-II (YP-II)
शैक्षणिक पात्रता:
बायोलॉजिकल सायन्सेस, लाइफ सायन्सेस किंवा प्लांट बायोटेक्नॉलॉजीमध्ये मास्टर डिग्री असणे आवश्यक.
वयोमर्यादा:
21 ते 45 वर्षे

The ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology (ICAR-NIPB) has announced a recruitment drive for 2025, seeking to fill positions for Senior Research Fellows (SRF) and Young Professional-II (YP-II). These roles are offered on a contractual basis.
Vacancy Details:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 2 positions
Young Professional-II (YP-II): 1 position
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in fields such as Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Botany, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, or Microbiology with a 4-year/5-year Bachelor’s degree.
Additional Requirements: Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Master’s degree must possess NET qualifications and have 2 years of research experience, in line with ICAR/DST guidelines.
Age Limit: Up to 35 years for male candidates and up to 40 years for female candidates.
2. Young Professional-II (YP-II):
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or Plant Biotechnology.
Age Limit: Between 21 and 45 years.
Application Process:
For Walk-in Interview: Candidates should attend the interview on February 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi – 110012. They must bring two copies of the application form, two self-attested copies of all relevant documents, and the original documents for verification.
For Online Interview: Candidates opting for the online interview must submit their application form in the prescribed format, along with a single PDF containing scanned copies of original documents, by February 25, 2025.
